The Sunnis have no stake in working towards a Shiite dominated Iraq. They have everything to gain from destabilizing an Iraq that is heading in this direction. So the Sunnis are becoming the proverbial fly in the ointment for the Shiites and the Coalition forces and have started a destabilizing insurgency in Iraq. We may note that while the Iraqi insurgency is fully dominated by Sunnis it is not limited to Iraqi Sunnis. Sunnis from all across the Islamic world have converged in to Iraq to destabilize Iraq. While to begin with they targeted the American forces, they are now almost exclusively aiming to murder Iraqi Shiites, especially those manning the security forces, Iraqi Police and the new Iraqi Army like the Wolf Brigades. While the Insurgents are all Sunnis, the New Iraqi Army and Police are mainly Shiite Here lies the seeds of the opposing forces - the Shiite dominated Iraqi Army and the Sunni insurgency. They see each other as hated rivals. While both dislike the Americans, the Shiites know the strategic importance of allying themselves with the American infidels, who are guests in Iraq and will depart- someday! The Sunnis are not going anywhere, neither are the Shiites. They have to settle scores and emerge victorious, if they are to have a meaningful life in the new Iraq

Lessons for us to defeat Islam
After their initial victories at the Battle of the Yarmuk river, the Arabs diverted their focus on attacking Sassanid Persia from 634 to 641. When the Arabs subjugated Persia they turned on the first Christian empire which blocked their way into Europe.
But unlike the Zoroastrain Persians, the Christian Byzantines were a diffcult adversary for the Arabs who could not make any headway. The Arabs besieged Constantinople twice first during 674-678 and then again during 717-718 C.E. This was so as the Byzantine could defeat the besieging Arabs with the use of a superior weapon named Greek Fire. This was a highly combustible liquid that caused painful burning to those that it struck. This was comparable to modern-day napalm.
The technique of these Byzantine victories are a lesson for the Americans today, who have superior fire power over the Jihadis. It is futile to engage the ferocious and madly motivated Jihadis in Hand-to-hand combat. The Americans need to wiped out the Jihadis in millions using neutron and nuclear weapons. Only this can secure the civilized world victory by decimating the beastly Jihadis, in the same way as the Byzantines decimated the attacking Arab Muslims in their thousands and saved not just Constantinople, but Europe itself from the first attack of Islam.
