Many young
Muslims said they admired Osama bin Laden, while views of
President Bush were uniformly negative. All focus group members
rejected U.S. views of the war in Iraq, saying the United States
invaded on a false premise to further its own regional goals. When
asked what they wanted from the United States, focus group members
said respect and aid to develop as their countries choose. Wow, so
beggars of aid can be choosers too! And those who demand to get the
aid they want will use their resources to target the USA someday.

Insurgency
A report that is marginalized by the media is the abject cruelty
of al Qaeda in exploiting children, mentally retarded persons and the economically weak and use them as cannon fodder as
suicide bombers. We have reports that at least three suicide bombers had Down's Syndrome, others were blackmailed to
due this as their families were kidnapped to ensure that the coerced
suicide bombers did the job, while killing themselves.
Autopsies of suicide bombers has revealed that three of them had
Downs Syndrome (a genetic disorder that results in mental
retardation). Islamic countries tend to keep the mentally ill at
home, living in extended families. This and the blackmail theory
apparently explains the suicide car bombs that have been set off by
remote control, even though a suicide bomber was at the wheel.

Zarqawi reportedly holds
meeting in Syria
The employing of women to reduce suspicion is one tactic used
by Al Qaeda and Hamas to reach difficult targets especially the Shiite
clergymen during public gatherings and meet the faithful events. The tent like garment (hijab) worn by Muslim women makes it
easier to use it as a disguise (as Al Libbi and his captors used it) and it is also easy to hide the suicide vest inside it.
In Iraq a number of Shiites have been murdered and now many Shiite clerics are
being targeted including two lieutenants of Grand Shiite Ayatollah
Ali Sistani. In retaliation for the first time, Sunni clerics have
been murdered by Shiite militiamen suspected to be from an informal
co-ordination front between the Mahdi Army and Badr Brigades which
are normally at loggerheads. In his latest audio tape Zarqawi has termed the Shiites as traitors to Islam and
collaborators of Americans and stated this as the explanation why he kills Shiite Muslims. This promted the maverick Shiite
leader Moqtada Sadr to demand the immediate withdrawal of American troops, whose presence is backed by Ali Sistani and the
Shiite led Government in Baghdad. But the signs from Iraq are ominous for an
increasingly bloodied Shiite-Sunni conflict.
